The fresh greenery in Kawamata is around the middle of May.
The temperature in our Ryokan this morning is -3 degrees Celsius, and the water is still freezing cold.
It was very cold in both January and February this year.
Every year, during the winter, I keep the water flowing out to about 2mm in diameter to prevent the water pipes from freezing, but one of the kitchen parts got punctured.
Since I'm using it regularly, the room temperature is a bit warmer than others, so I let my guard down and forgot to take it out.
I'm sure it's been especially cold this year for everyone, but how was it?

The photo shows a red suspension bridge in mid-green, which shifts from fresh green to dark green in June.
Across this bridge over the Kinugawa River, there are open-air baths for each man and woman.
There are rest areas with chairs here and there, so you can take a leisurely stroll across, looking at the Kinugawa River at your feet.
